Thesis Work

A few of the assignments I've been working on intended to reflect motion, progression of time, and color.

In the second part of this assignment we were asked to choose two of the montages to develop further

Taking the progression of time montage further resulted in a face that progressed in age from left to right.  I saw this as a rational sequence that mirrored the perpetual repetition of time.
In attempt to bring a different level of time progression to this seasonal progression I added the concept of time progression, simulating a dawn to dusk sequence.

The next assignment tasked students with the challenge of providing a visual abstract.  This single image was meant to summarize each students thesis topic without any captions or text.  Seeing as my thesis, at the present time, is based on reinventing the modern home I chose to create an image of a home divided into two sections, one half made entirely of images of outdated technology while the other is made up of ideas that are cutting edge and/or futuristic in nature.

Unsatisfied with this iteration I took the image a step further and made the entire landscape and home into a montage
